Mary was an incredible woman...who survived a horrific ordeal. Over the years Mary and I stayed in contact to support one another and sadly Mary passed away a few years ago. Mary struggled with post DV abuse and as I have, dealing with the ongoing ordeal with horrific battles over custody of her son. I always thought she died of a broken heart due to the agony on not being able to protect her son. Having experienced it myself I am now sure of it. RIP Mary.
